Mark Hilditch entertained hospitality diners pre-match on Saturday 6th December when Dale played Southend United.
He spoke of his debut when he was still working and being told off the next day on returning, also mentioned numerous memories of his time at Rochdale in two spells between 1977-1992.
Later on, he took time out to draw the winning number in the 50/50 draw after receiving a warm applause from watching Dale fans.
