“Curry On Up The Dale”
Calvin Andrew has been confirmed as the first Dale legend to attend the “Curry On Up The Dale” event on Thursday 28th March. He will speaking of his time at Rochdale under the Keith Hill management, which should provide an interesting insight, plus his career, which didn’t take the usual route into professional football but the rather saw the unusual appearing on the West End as a youngster before moving onto the Youth Training Scheme at Luton Town. Hopefully, he may also shed some light on the infamous incident at Oldham Athletic, which lead to a substantial ban in 2016 but we won’t be pushing it too much as he often tries to play down the incident when asked.
Other Dale legends have been invited and we will announce their names once we have confirmation of attending-watch this space!!!!
“Exiles Day”
We have Mark Stuart and Jason Peake hosting at the Exiles Day when Dale take on Maidenhead United on Saturday 23rd March. It should be a great day out for the fans making long trips to the Crown Oil Arena for this annual event and again stories from the past will be relayed including Jason’s overhead goal at Halifax Town and Mark’s jinking runs down the wings in the 1990’s.
